The concert began at 8:15 p.m. when Homero Guerrero III’s Los Cadetes de Linares came out on stage to perform hits such as “There is no novelty,” “The Two Friends,” “El Cart,” “El Palomito,” “ The Three Tombs” and “Eternal Love”, songs that made hundreds of people dance on the plaza of the capital’s Zócalo.

The presentation of the northern music group took place within the framework of the activities of the 2024 Christmas Verbena, which includes the participation of 50 artists, including them, on the main stage that is arranged in front of the Metropolitan Cathedral.

To the 30 thousand people attending the concert, 10 thousand more were added who enjoyed the rest of the activities and attractions available such as the three light tunnels, the artificial snow show, the monumental trees, the craft bazaar, the sale of food, and the giant Nativity.

This Wednesday the celebrations began in the Plaza de la Constitución at 1:30 p.m. with the presentation of the reggae musical group “La Palma de Coco”, later the cumbia group “Son Artmonía”, the Grupo Regional Chupeiro, and the Choral Ensemble of the Youth Institute (Injuve) with the interpretation of Christmas carols.

Meanwhile, on a secondary stage, placed on the side adjacent to the National Palace, two performances of the pastorela “Entre pingos y respingos” were performed.
