Salem: A child’s 2-pound gold bracelet was lost in a movie theater in Salem and was found mixed with garbage.
Two days ago, a couple with their child went to a movie theater in Salem Suramangalam. As the gold bracelet weighing around 2 pounds was missing, they immediately met the theater management and informed them about it.
Subsequently, the theater management, who examined the surveillance camera records in the theater, found that the child who came with his parents had a gold bracelet on his hand and when he left the theater, he did not have the gold bracelet. In this case, early in the morning, it was revealed that the entire theater was filled with garbage and all the collected garbage was handed over to the cleaning staff of the Corporation.

He contacted the cleaners who were in the garbage truck from the theater, stopped the vehicle from taking it to the garbage dump and instructed them to search the garbage for the child’s gold bracelet.
Following this, contract cleaners Manivel, Kannan and driver Murthy stopped the vehicle near the farmer’s market, dumped the garbage in it little by little and searched diligently for about 2 hours to see if there was any gold in them. As a result of their hard work, they got their hands on a gold bar in the trash.
After this, the child’s parents were informed and the recovered gold bracelet was handed over to them by the hands of the cleaners. The parents, who were sentimentally distressed by the loss of the child’s gold bracelet, were overjoyed to find the bracelet back.
They thanked everyone including the administrators of the theatre, the cleaning staff of the corporation, the superintendent, who had restored it. The work of the sanitation workers is getting appreciation from many.
