The harvest is more than good! During this 19th season of “L’Amour est dans le pré”, the second episode of which will air this Monday evening (M6, 9.10pm), eight couples were formed out of twelve participants! During the first part broadcast, a week ago, viewers learned that Valentin and Flavie were still together but above all they had witnessed, on their knees on the ground, a marriage proposal from Mickaël.
“You had an remarkable season,” congratulates karine Le marchand. Last year we had a little shock because there was only one couple. This year there are 8 couples out of 12, it’s a huge figure. It’s up to you to make his budding loves flourish. So here are the rest of the adventures.
Christophe, the friendly and ultra-sensitive 57-year-old farmer, ended up making his choice. This former straight man, who waited until he was forty to come out and finaly live a fulfilling love life, hesitated for a long time between a certain Guillaume… And his 32 years younger than him and Yann, with whom everything seemed to fit. Faced with the warning of his children who frowned upon this large age difference, Christophe ultimately chose Yann. Problem: the latter rightly had the impression of having been held back “out of spite”.
« I took the big step of resigning and I live with Christophe”
An extremely unpleasant sensation that had been the subject of heated discussions during a dinner in which tempers had become heated. What has happened since then? Well, good news. The love between these two conquered all and here they are together and as a couple at the time of this evaluation.
“He didn’t try to make a big deal out of it, but I just didn’t understand why. The day went pretty well, we went to the restaurant in good spirits and things came up during the meal. I felt pretty bad and ready to climb back into my cloud of loneliness. But it’s true that I was a bit clumsy,” agrees Christophe during his interview with Karine Le Marchand.
“I took this embarrassment a little badly but other than that he couldn’t have chosen anyone. You have to know how to discuss it and that’s what we did,” Yann continues. And both have already surpassed the first. “ I have taken the big step of resigning and I have been living with Christophe for almost two months”, Yann even announces.
Pascal always wants to “find a life partner”
Pascal, the big teddy bear who raises cows in the Deux-Sèvres department, unluckily had less luck and arrived at the time of the evaluation still single.Though, everything seemed to have started well with Murielle, the only suitor he brought to the farm. On site, she ultimately revealed herself to be extremely authoritarian, even fragile.
If Pascal made a little adjustment, he was counting on his new companion to live happy days. In contrast! to everyone’s surprise, it was Murielle who decided to leave, accusing him above all of hygiene problems as he didn’t wash his hands before eating.
“I was very happy to go to his house, see his house, see his friends, and then get the phone call saying he wanted to end this relationship.Well, I was amazed,” says Pascal. And he confided: “It really saddens me, I love him but maybe I haven’t said it often enough. » He does not lose sight of the desire to ”find a life partner”.
Brice and Marion plan a life together
Gillou, for his part, the truculent retired breeder from Sarthe, himself broke off his relationship with Marie, living too far south. But his best friend Renaud, registered at the same time as him, was luckier. This chicken farmer is madly in love with his “little Anne”.
“We want to live what we are experiencing to the fullest,” confides this nurse who has entirely changed her life with the show. The two lovebirds have made a radical decision. “We cannot bear the distance and I will come to live with Renaud,” announces the woman who resigned. I can work near his house as I am a nursing coordinator.” Renaud, for his part, experiences a second youth by repeating that he is “joyful” as he has never been.
Brice was also able to shake up his habits and regain his self-confidence. The salt worker revealed himself this season considering a life together with the young and lively Marion, who lives in Barcelona. It is not surprising that they arrive hand in hand in the balance sheet.
“You realize how far you’ve come, Brice,” Karine Le marchand immediately replies. Even more so because through unpublished images of a trip to Marseille, the viewer learns the gravity of the situation. “I feel ready to have children. Not before, it was never the right time or it wasn’t the right person.I feel good with you.I see myself with this project”, he admits to him in front of a sunset. “It would be fine for me too. I feel ready for it. And I’m even convinced that I will enjoy facing all this”,concludes the romantic.
What themes of love and relationship dynamics are explored in “L’Amour est dans le pré”?
Time.News Interview: The Unfolding Romance of ‘L’Amour est dans le pré’
Editor (E): welcome to Time.News! Today, we have the pleasure of speaking wiht renowned relationship expert Dr.Elise Moreau about the latest happenings on “L’Amour est dans le pré.” Dr. Moreau, thank you for joining us.
Dr. Moreau (M): Thank you for having me! I’m excited to dive into the dynamics of this show.
E: There’s been quite a stir this season, with eight out of twelve participants pairing up! What do you think contributed to such a prosperous match rate?
M: It’s fantastic, isn’t it? The show’s format allows for genuine connections to blossom away from the pressures of daily life. This year, it seems the interactions have been particularly authentic, leading to more couples finding love.
E: Absolutely! In the last episode, we saw a touching moment when Mickaël proposed. How notable do you believe these public displays of affection are for the participants’ relationships?
M: Public proposals can be incredibly meaningful. They create a shared experience that can strengthen a bond, showing commitment. However, it’s essential that the couple feels agreeable expressing their love publicly. In Mickaël’s case, it appears he read the room well, and his partner appreciated the gesture.
E: Speaking of comfort, there’s been some drama involving Christophe and his decision to choose Yann over Guillaume. Given Christophe’s age and the societal perceptions about age gaps, what are your thoughts on his journey?
M: that’s a compelling situation. Age differences can be challenging, especially with familial pressures, as we saw with christophe’s children. However, love knows no boundaries. It’s commendable that Christophe made a choice for love rather than societal expectations. His candidness about his struggles provides deeper insights into the complexities of modern relationships.
E: After a heated discussion, Christophe felt he might have been held back by Yann “out of spite.” How do you advise couples to navigate conflicts that arise from misunderstandings like this?
M: Communication is key. Both partners should express their feelings openly and honestly. It’s crucial to distinguish between expressing concerns about a relationship and placing blame. in Christophe’s case, he recognized his clumsiness, wich is a grate first step. Reflecting on one’s own actions can pave the way for healing and understanding.
E: Given that Christophe and Yann are now happily together, what role do you think vulnerability plays in building a strong relationship?
M: vulnerability is vital. It fosters intimacy and trust. when one person opens up about their fears or insecurities—as Christophe did during his dinner—it’s an opportunity for the other to do the same. It can create a deeper emotional connection, which is basic for any lasting relationship.
E: With the finale approaching, what do you think viewers can learn from this season of “L’Amour est dans le pré”?
M: Viewers can learn about the beauty of love in all its forms, the importance of vulnerability, and that every relationship has its unique challenges. They can also see that love isn’t just about finding someone but also about cultivating that love amidst life’s complexities.
E: Thank you, Dr. Moreau, for sharing your insights. It seems that this season is not just about the love stories but also about personal growth and societal expectations.
M: Exactly! I look forward to seeing how the remaining episodes unfold. Thank you for having me!
E: Thank you for joining us at Time.news. Be sure to catch “L’Amour est dans le pré” this Monday evening, and stay tuned for more insights in the weeks to come!
