Lukashists sentenced 68-year-old pensioner to six years in prison

68-year-old Natalya Petrovich was sentenced to six years in prison. The verdict was handed down by the Minsk City Court on August 11, according to the Viasna Human Rights Center.
The pensioner was found guilty of insulting Lukashenka (Article 368 of the Criminal Code), insulting a government official (Article 369 of the Criminal Code), inciting hatred (Article 130 of the Criminal Code), calling for harm to national security (Part 3 of Article 361 of the Criminal Code) and participating in an “extremist formation” (Part 3 articles 361-1 of the Criminal Code).

Also, Petrovich must pay more than 3,000 rubles in compensation.

Natalia Petrovich was detained in December 2022 for her comments.
