On the 10th, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the Lulu Mall of the United Arab Emirates in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. After that, a few days ago, a video was released on social media showing Muslim employees working in this mall performing Namaz in the open.
After the video went viral, the matter created a lot of controversy. The Akila Bharatiya Hindu Mahasabha has strongly opposed this and has sought permission from the local authorities to recite the Hanuman Chalisa near the mall. Regarding this, Hindu Mahasabha spokesperson Sishir Sardurvedi said, “People belonging to a certain community are allowed to offer prayers in the mall. So the mall authorities should allow Hindus and other communities to pray,” reports said.
As the matter escalated, the management of Luloo Mall today announced through a notice board that “no religious worship will be allowed in the premises”.
Also, it is noteworthy that the police have registered a case against unidentified persons for offering prayers at Lulu Mall.
