New Delhi: Railways has made a big announcement for the convenience of railway passengers during Mahakumbh 2025. From January 10, 2025 to February 28, 2025, many trains will be given temporary stoppage of 2 minutes at various stations. This decision has been taken in view of Mahakumbh 2025. During this period, a large number of devotees are expected to come to Prayagraj and surrounding areas. This step has been taken for the convenience of passengers and to reduce congestion. This facility of temporary stoppage of trains will start from 10 January 2025 and will continue till 28 February 2025. During this period, temporary stoppage of 2 minutes will be given at various stations of more than 40 trains.
At which stations will the trains stop?
Among the stations where trains will be stopped, Prayagraj Junction, Naini, Bharat Kupa and Shivrampur are prominent. The movement of devotees is highest at these stations.
In which trains will stoppage be given?
This stoppage will be given in many important trains. These include Sampoorna Kranti Express, Vikramshila Express, Godan Express, Chhapra Express, Tulsi Express, Durg Nautanwa Express, Ayodhya Cantt Express, Lokmanya Tilak Express, Duronto Express, Yesvantpur Lucknow Express and Kamayani Express.
Apart from this, Antyodaya Express, Pune Gorakhpur Express, Pune Darbhanga Express, Rewa Anand Vihar Express, Shraddha Setu Express, MGR Chennai Central – Chhapra Junction SF Express, Mumbai LTT – Gorakhpur Junction SF Express and Saket Express will also have special stops.
Yashwantpur Lucknow Express, Mau-Mumbai LTT Weekly Express, Bundelkhand Express, Chitrakoot Express, UP Sampark Kranti Express and Mahakaushal Express are also among those trains whose temporary stoppage has been kept.
