Hyderabad: Former actor and producer Ramesh Babu, 56, passed away here today. He died at a private hospital in Hyderabad following a liver ailment. Producer, director and actor Khattamaneni is the eldest son of Sivaramakrishna and Indira Devi. He is the brother of Telugu actor Mahesh Babu.
Ramesh Babu made his film debut as a child actor in 1974 with Alluri Sitharamaraju. He made his acting debut in 1987 with Samrat. Her last film was Encounter, released in 1997.
Ramesh Babu retired from acting and later became active in the production industry with the Bollywood film Suryavansham. The films produced by Ramesh Babu are Arjun, Atithi and Agadu.
Mridula is the wife of Ramesh Babu.
