Solar, a member of the group MAMAMOO, successfully completed her first solo Asian tour since her debut.
According to her agency RBW on the 7th, Solar concluded the Asian performances of her first solo tour ‘COLOURS’ with Macau the day before.
Starting with Seoul last June, Solar met with fans one by one in eight Asian cities, including Manila, Kaohsiung, Kawasaki, Hong Kong, Taipei, Singapore, and Macau. As befits the title of the performance, the main theme was ‘color’, and the singer’s unique charm was incorporated into the rich set list.
On this day, Solar opened the performance with ‘Colors’, which attracted attention with her voguing dance, and then performed her solo debut song ‘Spit it out’. Through the ‘Yellow’ theme, the so-called Honey series songs such as ‘Mellow’, ‘Honey Honey’, ‘HONEY BEE’, and ‘HONEY’ were performed one after another. In the ‘BLUE’ theme that followed, the stages of ‘Where the Wind Blows’, ‘Only Nostalgia Accumulates’, and ‘I Loved You’ left a long lasting impression.
In the ‘RED’ theme, we were able to meet musical diva Solar. Having played the main role in the musical ‘Mata Hari’, he selected the musical numbers ‘What is Life’, ‘That Girl From Before’, and ‘The Last Moment’. Not only singing but also acting provided a unique charm. Next, the tour concluded with the performance of the title song ‘But I’ from the 2nd mini album ‘Colors’, which has the same name as the performance title.
Solar said, “As this is our first solo tour, I think ‘Colors’ will remain an unforgettable memory for me and Yongsun (official fandom name). As I met Yongsuni in various cities, I also felt that I had grown a bit. “I will use the positive energy I received from you as a stepping stone to come back with better music and a better appearance.”
