The film crew is planning to hold the song launch event for the second part of Ponni’s Selvan in March.
Directed by Mani Ratnam and starring Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Aishwarya Rai, Trisha and others, Ponni’s Selvan was released on September 30 last year and was well received. The film grossed Rs 500 crore worldwide. In this situation, the second part of Ponni’s Selvan is going to be released on April 28.
The songs featured in the first part of Ponni’s Selvan, composed by AR Raghuman, were well received by the fans. Similarly, the second part also features some songs. They are planning to release those songs in a grand ceremony in March. They have asked the music director AR Raghuman for the date. The film crew says that once he finalizes the date, the song release ceremony will be finalised.

Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan’s speech at the song launch of the first part was a huge boost for the film. In that way, they have planned to popularize the song festival of the second part as well.
While the song festival for Ponni’s Selvan 2 will be held in March, the team is planning to release the first song from the film on Valentine’s Day. Once the work of the song is completed, the crew is going to make an announcement about it.
