It is planned to complete the second construction phase of the A2 building at the Paula Stradins Clinical University Hospital (PSKUS) by the end of 2026 for almost 68 million euros. The next step is to build the B body, or Heart House. The dates when this will happen are unclear: the most distant – 2034, the nearest – 2029.
Litigation from both sides
In the first stage of the A2 building project (from 2014 to 2020), 45.2 million euros remained unused, of which 26.1 million euros were financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and 19.1 million euros were state budget funds. The transition from the first stage to the second is not going as quickly as planned. Currently, the construction documentation of the second stage is still in process at the Procurement Supervision Office (IUB) and SIA The sixth style ready design section.
