jpnn.com – Marc Klok had to go through a long journey to become an Indonesian citizen (WNI).
Klok is now one of Shin Tae Yong’s trusted players in the Indonesian National Team.
The Persib Bandung midfielder also explained how he came to hold an Indonesian passport.
Klok is a footballer who was born and raised in the Netherlands. His professional career began when he defended Jong Utrecht in the 2011 to 2013 season.
After that, Klok migrated to a number of European countries, such as Scotland, Bulgaria and England.
While still grazing on the blue continent, Klok was contacted by his father that they had a long-lost relative.
After looking through old family documents, his father discovered that Klok had a great-grandfather who came from Indonesia, Makassar to be precise.
