Maria (Karin Viard) has been married for 25 years and works for a cleaning company. She has a reserved and shy character, she is sometimes clumsy and always kind. She writes poems and never leaves the red notebook, where she collects them, she always carries it with her and she doesn’t share her writings with anyone, not even with her husband. One day the woman is assigned as a cleaner at the prestigious School of Fine Arts in Paris and within the walls of the institute she discovers a new world full of creativity, freedom and audacity. Here she meets Hubert (Grégory Gadebois), the bizarre school custodian, with whom she immediately establishes a strong friendship and who immediately stands by her in the most difficult situations. As the bond between the two grows, Maria rediscovers not only herself, but also emotions that she hadn’t felt for a long time. Will she be able to let go and finally taste life and love?
