The wife of political prisoner Mikola Statkevich, Marina Adamovich, was arrested for 15 days, the Viasna human rights center reports. Today there was a trial under Article 19.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (petty hooliganism). The decision was made by the Zavodskog District Court of Minsk.
Let us remind you that, according to human rights activists, on January 23, at least 84 people faced visits from security forces. Some were detained, some were released after a search. Among those detained are Marina Adamovich, Vitebsk activist Boris Khamayda, and former Catholic.by journalist Oksana Yuchkovich.
Human rights activists report that the resolutions of the security forces include articles for “financing” and “participation in extremist groups.”
