(24 News) Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has decided to implement a modern method of getting rid of air pollution and dust in Lahore on the model of China.
Maryam Nawaz ordered the installation of water sprinkler systems at 1,500 construction sites in Lahore, a locally developed technology that had been undergoing trials for the past three weeks.
‘EPA’ decided to implement it in practice after the success of the experiments. Chief Minister of Punjab directed ‘C&W’ and ‘LDA’ to install ‘Water Sprinkle System’ immediately.
Under this method, the water is run in the form of a fountain in such a way that the soil does not fly and dust is not created at the construction site.
According to the decision, it will be mandatory to cover construction sites with green cloth so that cement, soil and dust do not fly during the construction work.
According to the decision, a case will be registered for not following the procedure of sprinkling water after February 10.
