(24News) Punjab Senior Minister Maryam Aurangzeb has said that Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s dream of agricultural and industrial revolution is fast becoming a reality. Development of agriculture, energy and industry through modern technology is the agenda of Maryam Nawaz, the prosperity of the farmer is the basis of the prosperity of Punjab and Pakistan.

According to the details, the meeting was chaired by Senior Minister of Punjab Maryam Aurangzeb. In which the performance of agriculture, energy, industry ministries and sub-departments was reviewed, while major decisions were taken for agriculture, solar energy and industrial revolution, under the annual development program (ADP) during six months of the ministries and departments. This was the sixth meeting in relation to performance review. In the meeting, all the ministries and departments informed about the progress on the projects. Development and Planning Chairman Nabil Ahmed Awan, Asif Tufail and secretaries of other departments also participated in the meeting.

In the meeting, it was decided to speed up and expand the free solar energy scheme of Maryam Nawaz. And it was also decided to complete the project of transferring government buildings to solar energy by June, it was also decided to give additional funds of 6 billion for the promotion of solar energy. While it was directed to complete the process of establishment of funds for generation of electricity from garbage by March, it was decided in the meeting to start a major program for the rehabilitation and development of citrus fruits like malt, sugarcane, to establish ideal agricultural wealth in Punjab. In the meeting, the Punjab Assembly, the Institute of Cardiology and other departments and ministries including the program to transfer to solar energy, the establishment of a 300-acre industrial and technology park in Narwal, the acquisition of land and the feasibility of establishing a technology university in Kasur were also reviewed. It was directed while it was decided to create a monitoring system in every division to teach farmers about agricultural development and modern farming methods. The consultation on the plan to set up a fertilizer factory was completed, the establishment of an inspector’s office for agricultural supervision and speeding up the recruitment process were also directed.
