Violent attack on fans of FC Hansa Rostock: There was an altercation with masked supporters of another club in a parking lot on the A9.
There is said to have been an altercation between football fans from Dynamo Dresden and FC Hansa Rostock on Saturday morning around 9:30 a.m. in a motorway parking lot on the A9 in middle Franconia.As the police reported, masked Dynamo supporters attacked and beat up the fans of the other team.
three people were slightly injured and one man was treated in hospital for bruises to his face. The Hansa fans, seven men and one woman, were on their way to Munich to watch their team’s soccer game against TSV 1860. The incident occurred near Feucht in the Nürnberger Land district.
The police are looking for the possible attackers and are investigating the breach of the peace. The “Ostsee Zeitung” had previously reported.
As the police confirmed, citing facts from Hansa fans, the group was attacked in the parking lot by 30 to 50 Dynamo supporters who were said to be dressed in black and wearing masks. Not only did they strike, they also stole fan clothing, a wallet and several other items, according to the police report. They then drove away in several cars.
A police search, in which a helicopter was even used, was reportedly unsuccessful. The police are investigating suspicions of robbery and breach of the peace and are looking for witnesses to the incident.
