MG’s Hector comes in an updated version Dinamalar

MG is planning to launch an updated version of its Hector model.

India’s leading SUV manufacturer MG (Morris Garages) is all set to launch an updated version of its iconic model Hector. This updated car is expected to be launched and go on sale in 2023.

The car will come with several updates like front side grill, updated bumper and new headlights. Apart from that, ATAS technology will be installed as a key safety feature. Apart from that, color options which are not available before are also going to be added in this update.

Also, as far as the infotainment system is concerned, the main features of this car include a new digital instrument console, dashboards with chrome accents, wireless, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, automatic climate control, auto-dimming IRVM, push-button strat, adaptive headlights, active cruise control, guided parking assist and a host of features. Features will be included in it. Additionally, it gets a 14-inch touch screen display.

As for the engine, it will be equipped with the same 6-speed manual gearbox or automatic gearbox. The new update will bring 3 engine options which are 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine, 1.5-litre petrol hybrid engine and 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine.

Also, the 1.5-litre turbo and 1.5-litre turbo hybrid petrol engines churn out 143 PS and 250 Nm of torque, while the diesel engines churn out 170 PS and 350 Nm of torque. Only 6-speed manual gearbox option is available on petrol hybrid and diesel engine.
