On Sunday evening, Mike Heiter asked Leyla Lahouar the questions of all questions. A request that did not seem entirely voluntary for many viewers.
“I’m becoming a Heiter,” said Leyla Lahouar happily after her boyfriend Mike Heiter asked for her hand in marriage live on TV on Sunday evening. The two met in the jungle camp in January. Nine months later, the 32-year-old and his girlfriend, who is four years his junior, took part in the twelfth season of “Celebrity Big Brother” – and the TV star got down on his knees there. However, for many viewers it seemed more forced than romantic.
In Sunday evening’s episode, Big Brother called Mike Heiter into the consulting room. There were red balloons, flowers, champagne – and a heart decorated with the inscription “Marry Me”. “What? What’s going on here? Huh?” he was heard asking in surprise.
The 32-year-old sat down and Big Brother slammed the door into the house: “Hello Mike, I heard something. What goes through your head when you hear the following words: Leyla Heiter?” TV wanted -Voice knew about him and made him a suggestion: “You can ask Leyla for her hand in marriage now and immediately.” Mike Heiter felt taken by surprise and hesitated, but finally said yes after seven minutes. Yes to an application in the container – and live on TV.
Then Mike Heiter got on his knees in front of his Leyla – and in front of the eyes of the other residents. “Darling, I love you and I’m sure with you.” The 28-year-old is “the right one” for him. “Do you want to be my wife?” he asked. His girlfriend cheered and threw her arms around his neck.
While Leyla was happy about the question of all questions, the viewers in front of the screens were horrified. “Mike would never have done that on his own, BB really forced him,” wrote a user on “It would have ended badly,” another commented on Instagram.
“But somehow he was pressured to propose in the room by PBB, wasn’t he? He seemed unsure, I had the feeling. In any case, the decision didn’t come from him,” said someone else. Another viewer found similar words: “I think it’s really excessive for Sat.1 to put Mike and Leyla in this situation. They should decide that freely and alone.” Another viewer joked: “Watch Sat.1 soon: ‘Mike and Leyla, we’re having a baby!’ Live!”
