‘Minnal Murali’, directed by Basil Joseph and starring Tovino Thomas, is the second most hyped Malayalam film after ‘Marakkari’. The direct OTT release was the Christmas release of the popular platform Netflix. The first reactions of the film, which premiered at 1:30 pm today, started appearing on social media platforms.
Recently, Netflix gave Minnal Murali a pre-release promotion that no other Indian film has given. The first reactions on social media were that the film did justice to the hype created. Following the release, director Basil Joseph thanked the audience and posted on Facebook. In the comment box too, there are positive comments from the audience who have already seen the movie.
Prior to the Netflix premiere, the film’s world premiere was held at the Geo Mami Mumbai Film Festival. The premiere was on the 16th of this month. Even after the screening of Geo Mami, positive comments about the film appeared on social media. Celebrities including director Anjali Menon shared positive comments about the film.
After the success of ‘Goda’, Tovino Thomas and Basil Joseph have teamed up for the title of the first superhero movie in Malayalam. The line-up hopes that the superhero movie, which is one of the most popular movie genres in the world, will be released on Netflix. Minnal Murali is also a very important release regarding Netflix which has recently updated its subscription rates.
