WhatsApp It is one of the most used chat apps both in Spain and globally. However, due to technological advancement, mobile phones are being updated with more advanced and secure systems.
WhatsApp and other apps cannot be installed on phones that are considered too old. From this one January 1, 2024, more devices are added to the list of those that will not be able to use the application. This means that people who own these phones will have to explore other options if they want to stay in touch through this platform.
Some phone models, both Android and iOS, they will no longer be able to have WhatsApp again. For Android phones, those with an operating system version lower than 4.1 will not be able to use the app. In the case of Apple devices, those with versions older than iOS 11 will also not be able to access WhatsApp. The alternative for these users is to consider updating their phones if it is still possible to do so.
