DIG/ The Union Gabonaise de Banque (UGB) and ASCA Asset Management, the leading asset manager in the CEMAC zone, organized, on Thursday October 14, 2024 at the Radisson Hotel in Libreville, an exclusive meeting with their clients as part of the first meeting of their new concept from “Apéro finance”under the theme “Savings mobilization: achieving financial independence through savings and asset management”.
In his remarks for the occasion, the Director General of the UGB, Mohammed Hamlili, welcomed the enthusiasm generated by this meeting by sending his thanks to the guests present at these discussions.
In his speech, the Managing Director of ASCA Asset Management, Georges Fotso shared his expertise and his perspectives on the issues of personal savings by emphasizing the importance of financial planning. He highlighted the diversity of investment solutions offered by the Attijariwafa Bank group, through its network of expertise.
In order to better educate the public on the offer available at the UGB, the Director of Operations at the UGB, Larbi Allabouch highlighted the complementarity of financial products such as Term Deposits (DAT), securities and UCITS, giving the opportunity to effectively cover the specific expectations of clients, by combining the security, liquidity and profitability aspects of investments in an optimized manner.
For his part, the head of market activities at UGB, Atef Gabsi, was able to talk to the audience in more detail about investments in public securities, while Floriane Nguimbo, distribution manager at ASCA AM, dwelt on the various investment offers offered by ASCA Asset Management, mainly on mutual funds, specifying the advantages brought by asset management to investor clients, through subscription to UCITS.
