The 8th season of the 11-team Indian Super League (ISL) football tournament kicked off in Goa yesterday. These matches are held without fans following safety measures due to corona infection.
In the opening match yesterday, former champion A.D.K. Mohan Bagan team (West Bengal) clashes with Kerala Blasters team. West Bengal’s Mohan Bagan beat Kerala Blasters 4-2 in a thrilling match.
Hugo Bomaus (2nd and 39th minute), Roy Krishna (27th minute) and Liston Kolako (50th minute) scored for Mohan Bagan. Sahal Abdul Samad (24th minute) and George Perera Dias (69th minute) scored for Kerala.
Bangalore FC, North East United (Guwahati) clash in today’s league match.
