Due to continuous rains, more than 57 lakh people have lost their homes and belongings and are suffering without even food. It is said that 1,200 people, including children and women, have died in the monsoon and floods in the last 3 months. In this case, in the suburbs of Shadadkot in Sindh province, even when the rain stops, the flood water does not drain away and looks like a small island. Citizens are forced to wade through waist-deep water to meet their daily needs.

Heavy rains in Japan’s Hamamatsu region have caused flooding in the Makome River, flooding residential areas. Normal life of the people has been affected due to flooding in residential areas.
With traffic in the Hamamatsu area at a standstill, the public has demanded that rescue operations be speeded up there. However, as no vehicle could enter the flood-affected area, rescue operations were challenging, officials said.
