Aether Energy has set up more than 1000 fast charging stations across India. Bangalore-headquartered electric scooter maker Aether Energy plans to install 2,500 Aether charging stations by the end of this year. Commenting on this, Ravneet Phokela, Chief Commercial Officer, Aether Energy, said, “As a brand focused on creating a vibrant EV ecosystem, we have already made strong investments in developing India’s fastest charging stations. As part of developing fast charging stations, Aether released its IP for charging connectors to all OEMs. He said that this paves the way for fast charging of the two-wheeler. 60% of Aether Grids stations are located in Tier II and Tier III cities. To enable intercity rides, the company has installed charging stations across cities. Consumers can now easily plan rides from Pune to Mumbai, or Siliguri to Darjeeling, or Coimbatore to Ooty.

Aether recently launched the Aether Neighborhood Charging initiative, which provides access to these charging stations in public areas including corporate buildings, technology parks and residential complexes. In November last year, the EV maker inaugurated its second manufacturing plant in Hosur. Aether has installed more than 100 charging stations in 80 cities. The company plans to expand retail to 150 centers in 100 cities by March this year. Notably, in January, Aether delivered 12,419 units of electric scooters.
