“I have no doubt that Morocco is an important model of development in all sectors, social, economic and educational, in the region,” declared the Brazilian minister during a press briefing held at the end of his meetings with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans living abroad, Mr. Nasser Bourita.
In this regard, the head of Brazilian diplomacy welcomed the “very important” role of the Kingdom, under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, in strengthening coordination and consultation with Brazil, in the service of the joint action of the two countries on the regional level.

Mr. Vieira’s visit to Morocco coincides with the 20th anniversary of the state visit of His Majesty King Mohammed VI to Brazil in 2004, which opened “a new path of bilateral cooperation and established the fundamental lines of development relations between the two countries”, recalled the Brazilian official.
