Returning to his last visit to Morocco, last fall, at the head of an important economic mission, Mr. Parmelin indicated that the two parties “are evaluating promising sectors for trade, within the framework of a win-win approach. winner”.
For his part, Mr. Mezzour underlined the existing integration between the Moroccan and Swiss economic fabrics, particularly in terms of innovation and competitiveness.
Today, more than 40 Swiss companies operate in Morocco in various sectors such as agri-food and aeronautics, he said, stressing that the current direction of economic relations between the two countries is to strengthen complementarity. in terms of innovation, within the framework of relations between companies and innovation centers, in order to increase the added value of Moroccan production.
Mr. Mezzour insisted on the need to strengthen integration between the two countries in terms of competitiveness, to allow Morocco to access larger global markets and intensify trade.
The two ministers thus agreed that the textile sector can be a driving force for the intensification of economic cooperation, taking advantage of the close relations between the stakeholders of the two countries.
