The work of city transport in Moscow will be extended on New Year’s Eve. Travel will be free, just like in 2020.
“Mosmetro, MCC and 66 ground transport routes will operate around the clock, MCD – until 2:00, and another 91 ground routes – until 3:30,” the Moscow Department of Transport reports.
From January 2, 2022, the cost of travel tickets on Moscow public transport will rise. The changes will affect several tariffs. A single trip on a ticket “Ediny” will rise in price by 1 rub. (up to RUB 61). The cost of a ticket for two trips will also increase, it will amount to 122 rubles. (+1 rub. Per trip), according to “Moscow 24”.
One-time travel in ground transport, metro, MCC and MCD (“Central” zone) with the “Troika” card will rise in price by 4 rubles.
The price for long passes (for 30 and 90 days) will change. The cost of one trip will increase by a little more than 1 ruble on average. At the same time, from July, these subscriptions (including annual) will be possible to activate within ten days after purchase.
