The involvement of Unit 433 with regard to the sale of Betar Jerusalem and the possibility that as a result funds will be transferred to Moshe Hogg’s companies or to the owner himself, caused many question marks regarding the possibility of transferring ownership of the club.
However, if and when a sale or transfer of ownership is made in exchange for covering the liabilities, Hogg’s legal team also estimates that it will be approved and funds will simply be deposited with the police or trustee and the owner is convinced that things will be settled.
The club itself continues to try to find solutions in order to pass budget control. In the coming days, the club hopes to close the deal to transfer Aviel Zargari to Maccabi Haifa in exchange for the debt on Jordan Shua, while Betar will have 20% left on the card.
Who may return to Betar Jerusalem is the brakeman Or Zehavi, who last season played for Yossi Aboksis in Bnei Yehuda. At this stage there are gaps between the parties but the talks will continue.
