Speaking at the opening of the work of the Governing council, Mr. Akhannouch reviewed the content of the speech of His Majesty King Mohammed VI on the occasion of the 49th anniversary of the glorious Green March, in which the Sovereign underlined the important role of the Moroccan community abroad, like all components of Moroccan society, in defending the legitimacy of the Moroccanness of the Sahara and the sacred symbols of the Nation.
In this speech, the Sovereign called on the government to bring about a transformation in the world of business management of the Moroccan community abroad, by restructuring the institutional framework of the “council of the Moroccan Community Abroad” and the creation of “the Mohammedia Foundation for Moroccans living abroad”, recalled Mr. akhannouch.
In this regard, the Head of Government announced the holding this thursday of the first meeting with the ministerial departments concerned, which will be dedicated to examining the institutional and legal means and mechanisms allowing the optimal implementation of the High Royal Directives, and the establishment of an action program for the restructuring of the bodies concerned with the affairs of the Moroccan community abroad, in accordance with the High Vision of His Majesty.
furthermore, Mr. Akhannouch stressed that His Majesty the King has presented the United nations with their responsibilities for the resolution of the artificial dispute around the Moroccan Sahara,which has lasted too long,stressing that the Sovereign has highlighted “the big difference between the realistic and legitimate paradigm,which morocco embodies in its sahara,and that based on a sclerotic vision,cut off from the real world and its developments”,represented by the adversaries of the territorial integrity of the Kingdom.
On this occasion, he assured that all components of the government will be mobilized to continue the defense of the national question, particularly in this crucial period experienced by the issue of territorial integrity.
