The Azerbaijan State Academic Philharmonic named after Muslim Magomayev in Baku continues to hold subscription concerts, Day.Az reports.
Subscription concerts in February were held every Saturday at 15:00 in the Chamber and Organ Music Hall of the Azerbaijan State Academic Philharmonic named after Muslim Magomayev.
The first subscription concert in February was held with the participation of young talents. On February 3, laureates of republican and international competitions Aykhan Guluzade, Abid Chelebiev, Zahra Sadikhova, Nurgyun Abdulova, Aisha Alizade, Fatima Huseynzade, Tomris Eyvazly, Mekhin Zalyeva, Yasemen Umudova, Aishan Umudova, Farah Aliyeva, Veli Veliyev, Ibrahim Abbasov, Nuray Guliyeva, Maryam Rahimli, Melek Mustafazadeh, Miray Pirmamedova, Kamran Rahimli, Zahra Mammadova, as well as the Chamber Choir “Şəms Qəmər”. The program featured works by Azerbaijani, Russian and Western European composers.
On February 10, a concert was held by the Azerbaijan State String Quartet, which performed works by Azerbaijani and European composers. Honored Artist of Azerbaijan Farida Mammadova also performed.
The performance of the Azerbaijan State Choir and soloists – Honored Artists of Azerbaijan Anton Vershtandt and Tural Agasiyev, as well as Talib Iskenderli, Rashad Ibragimov, Emin Mamedov, Ismail Asadli, Adil Bakhishli, Emin Gamarlinsky and Leyla Muradzadeh took place on February 17.
On February 24, a concert of the Azerbaijan State Piano Trio took place. The program featured works by Azerbaijani and European composers.
It should be noted that from November 2022, after a long break, subscription concerts organized by the Azerbaijan State Academic Philharmonic named after Muslim Magomayev with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan have been resumed.
Those wishing to attend the concerts can purchase tickets at the city box office and on the website iticket.az. A ticket purchased once is valid for concerts held within a month.
