Namyangju City (Mayor Joo Gwang-deok) announced on the 27th that it held the ‘2024 Namyangju City Eup, Myeon-dong Community Security Council Performance Sharing Meeting’ at the Paros Convention in Dasan-dong on the 26th.
This performance sharing meeting was attended by 185 people, including Hong Ji-seon, Vice Mayor of Namyangju City, town, township and district council members, and public officials in charge, and was prepared to reflect on the performance of the year and strengthen the network to improve local welfare.
The event on this day was held in the following order: recognition of meritorious people who contributed to the revitalization of town, township and neighborhood social security councils (16 mayoral awards, 3 provincial governor awards), sharing of operation status in 2024, presentation of best practices (Hwado-eup, Joan-myeon), and La Classe Healing Concert.
A committee member who attended the performance sharing meeting said, “This performance sharing meeting was a meaningful opportunity to look back on the many achievements our council has made over the past year.” He added, “In particular, we were able to see the changes in the lives of our neighbors through our activities.” “We will continue to strive to create a better welfare community together with residents.”

Meanwhile, the Namyangju City Council of the Living Upright Movement (Chairman Cho Geun-sang) held the ‘2024 Namyangju City Council of the Living Upright Movement General Meeting and Member Meeting’ on the 26th.
This competition was designed to share the operational results of the Namyangju City Council of the Living Upright Movement this year and encourage members who contributed to revitalizing the Living Upright Movement.
About 200 people attended the event, including Namyangju City Vice Mayor Hong Ji-seon, provincial and city council members, heads of institutions and organizations, the Namyangju City Council and Women’s Association of the Movement for Living Right, members of 16 town, township and dong committees, and Kim Young-sun, president of the Gyeonggi Provincial Council of the Movement for Living Right.
The competition was held in the following order: △activity performance report △awarding of meritorious member awards △reading of resolution △part 2 performance.
Chairman Cho Geun-sang said, “We will continue to strive to become a national movement organization that takes the lead in the movement to reform national consciousness based on the three ideologies of the Movement for Living Upright: Truth, Order, and Harmony.” He also added, “In addition, we will actively carry out a membership doubling campaign to revitalize the organization.” “We will further improve it,” he said.
