A delegation of members of the United States House of Representatives, led by Speaker Nancy Lucy, visited the Knesset today (Wednesday), where she will meet with Knesset Speaker Miki Levy and participate in the Knesset plenum.
Pelosi was received in the Knesset plaza by the Mishkan Kavod, where the anthems of the two countries were played. Pelosi also laid a wreath at a monument in memory of the victims of the Israeli military operations.
At the beginning of the visit, the Speaker of the Knesset, MK Miki Levy, said to the Speaker of the US House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi: “The State of Israel appreciates your uncompromising struggle for its security. “Operation The Wall Guard in Gaza. In his remarks, the Speaker of the Knesset also referred to the tensions on the Russia-Ukraine border, and addressed Speaker Pelosi: “Your visit here today takes place when winds of war are blowing in Eastern Europe. “Diplomats and prevent casualties as it has done in the past.”
On the Iranian issue, the Speaker of the Knesset said: “Iran is not only a problem of Israel, but a regional and global problem, whose missiles reach as far as Europe, so it must not be allowed to develop nuclear capabilities.”

Nancy Pelosi said in a statement to the media: “Israel is the greatest political achievement of the 20th century and the United States is proud to be its oldest ally. “The United States’ support for Israel’s security and regional stability remains unquestionable.
