NASA astronauts stuck in space spoke publicly about their situation for the first time. They have been in orbit for more than three months due to serious problems with the Starliner spacecraft. “We wanted to see Starliner through to the end and land it back on Earth at home. But, you know, we have to turn the page and look at the next opportunity.”noted astronaut Sunita Williams.
Astronauts will now be able to return to Earth only in 2025, no earlier than February. A ship from SpaceX will fly especially for their rotation, and the faulty Starliner, the manufacturer of which is Boeing, was sent to Earth without passengers.
