In this situation, the devotees who left on the 13th of this year and went on the Palani Pathayathri through Natham, stayed at Samudrapatti last night (14th). A complaint was lodged at the Natham police station led by Pusari Chettiar, the head of the Chest Command, who said they had found two 3-inch-tall, 3-inch-high bracelets, including a silver pedestal, which they had brought with them, more than 422 years old. Natham police are investigating.

Devotees carrying the Kavadi and the Pathayathri devotees are in great distress as the anointing veil at the Palani Dandayuthapani Swami Temple headquarters is missing. As the Vail was not available after many hours of searching, the new Vail was worshiped as an alternative arrangement and the Kawadi Patrol marched towards Palani.
