Today, Wednesday, our national speedball team continues its preparations to compete in the World Cup Speedball Championship, which will begin tomorrow in Egypt.
Federation spokesman Ali Hamza al-Rubaie said in a statement received by the (INA): “Members of the national team are intensifying their training a day before the start of the 35th World Speedball Championship competitions in the Egyptian capital, Cairo,” adding that “our team, according to expectations, can “Providing good performances and achieving good numbers will enable him to compete for first places in some of the game’s events.”
Al-Rubaie pointed out that “the national team players will participate on Thursday in the Super Solo competitions for male and female juniors, and the adult singles competitions for women and men, in addition to the junior singles competitions for girls and boys,” explaining that “Iraq will also participate in the mixed relay competitions and the adult and junior doubles competitions for both genders.”
He pointed out that “the competitions will continue next Friday in various events, and then the tournament activities will be concluded and prizes will be distributed to the winners.”
