NATO regrets Russia’s decision to suspend the activities of its diplomatic mission to the alliance, as well as the military liaison mission and the bloc’s information bureau in Moscow. NATO representative Oana Lungescu told TASS about it.
“We took note of the decision of Russia <...> we are sorry about these steps, ”- said the representative of the alliance.
Lungescu called the bloc’s policy towards Moscow consistent, pointing out that the alliance has strengthened its defenses due to “aggressive actions by Russia.” NATO is ready for dialogue, in particular within the framework of the Russia-NATO Council, she noted, calling the site an important platform for dialogue between the parties.
“NATO offered to hold another meeting of him 18 months ago, and this proposal remains in force. The ball is on the side of Russia, ”she summed up.
