Navy locates boat with a crew member after passing through Milton in Yucatán

The Secretary of the Navythrough the Mexican Navy, continues with the search operation to locate two missing vessels in the vicinity of the state of Yucatan, after Hurricane Milton.

Today, at 10:00 a.m., a Navy Persuader aircraft sighted an overturned smaller vessel, which coincides with the characteristics of the boat “PEYUCSA 12”.

The discovery was made approximately 116 nautical miles (214 kilometers) northeast of Progreso and 60 nautical miles (111 kilometers) north of Río Lagartos.

Given this situation, a Defender-type boat from the Naval Search, Rescue and Maritime Surveillance Station of Yucalpetén It is heading towards the aforementioned location with the objective of safeguarding the life of the crew member who was on the hull of the sighted vessel.
