This value, including both production and promotion costs, is the result of the meticulous adaptation of the popular League of Legends universe with the new support of Riot Games. The first season, which was released in 2021 on Netflix, was a great success with the audience, receiving an Emmy and laying the foundations for the second season, which will be broadcast for the first time on November 9.
Arcane’s build led Riot to reevaluate their production model. According to Marc Merrill, co-founder of the company, the project required a restructuring of expectations and production strategies, not following the traditional methods of the industry.
