Another 180 elements of the Mexican Army arrived in Monterrey on Saturday to patrol Nuevo León as part of the Regional Task Force of the IV Military Region in support of Operation Monterrey Seguro 2022.
The foregoing was reported by the Ministry of National Defense itself in a statement detailing that the soldiers belong to the 12 and 48 military zones.

Starting this Sunday and until June 16, a total of 270 elements of the Mexican Army and 60 elements of the National Guard, belonging to the 7, 12 and 49 military zones will be deployed in the municipalities of Cadereyta and Juárez.
The idea is to reinforce the security strategy in the state by carrying out deterrent reconnaissance, reducing homicide rates linked to organized crime.
It should be noted that just last Friday, the State Secretary of Public Security, Aldo Fasci Zuazua, acknowledged that the issue of homicide is highly professionalized in Nuevo León and that 30 new assassins emerge every month.
“The issue of homicide is very professionalized. We have more than 400 people that we are looking for to be detained, ”she detailed.
He added that every month there are 30 new assassins, so they are not the same murderers and that complicates the arrests for the authorities.
He stressed that different people have become professionalized and use the same weapon.
“A hit man passes his gun to another and that makes the investigation folder difficult,” he said.
