Director Baz Luhrmann has made the sixth and last film adaptation of the American literary classic with Leonardo DiCaprio as the mysterious millionaire and bon vivant Jay Gatsby and Tobey Maguire in the role of author Nick Carraway. Baz Luhrmann has succeeded in creating a visually stunning version of the story, for which the largest possible screen is worthwhile.
