New tropical storm approaches Central America

Tropical cyclone Nadine has formed in the Caribbean Sea and will hit the coast of Belize, causing heavy rains in the region including the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico, Day.Az reports citing Bloomberg.

“To date, the storm’s maximum sustained wind speed has reached almost 64 kilometers per hour. The cyclone is moving westward at a speed of about 12 kilometers per hour,” the US National Hurricane Center said.

Storm warnings have already been issued for areas between Belize and the state border with Mexico. It also applies in Mexico itself. There it was decided to introduce it from the city of Tulum to the border with Belize.
