Dubai> Dubai has prepared special security arrangements to celebrate the New Year safely. Lakhs of people from different countries have come to Dubai to celebrate the New Year. There was a huge rush of visitors at the Dubai airports in the past few days

Around 10,000 CCTV cameras will be installed across the city of Dubai specifically to monitor the New Year celebrations. The Road Transport Authority, Dubai Police, Civil Defense and Ambulance Service will jointly deploy special teams across the city. Elaborate arrangements are also being made to transport the public to the venues.
Police can be contacted on 999 for emergencies and 901 for enquiries. Special tents of the police force have been set up at various places to help people in cases of loss of valuables, need of first aid, missing children, etc.

Burj Khalifa has one of the most spectacular fireworks displays on New Year’s Day. Therefore, a special team will be appointed to control the traffic in this area. Dubai Metro runs special services to reach people from different areas of Dubai. Those who get off at Burj Khalifa metro station can see Burj Khalifa fireworks if they reach South Ridge. For those arriving as a family, the fireworks can be conveniently viewed from Burj Khalifa Metro Station, Island Park or the area behind Tower View. Those arriving at the Financial Center Metro Station can enjoy the fireworks at the Boulevard area and those arriving in groups at the South Edge area. Even if you arrive at Business Bay Metro station, you can see Burj Khalifa fireworks. Dubai Metro will run for 43 hours continuously from 5 am on Saturday to 12 midnight on Monday. Tram service is also available from 6 am on Saturday to 1 am on Monday midnight. In view of the rush of people coming to the festival, additional parking spaces have been arranged in many places.

Since the celebrations are held in many parts of the city, the Dubai government has also arranged special bus services to reach the metro station from there. Roads will be closed at many places from 4 pm onwards due to unusual rush this year. Only emergency vehicles and public transport vehicles will be able to enter the road afterwards. Those who wish to participate in the celebrations should prepare their schedules accordingly.

Free parking has been allowed in Dubai and Sharjah on January 1 to coincide with the New Year. But free parking is not available in parking lots near high-rise buildings in Dubai and in parking zones in Sharjah Emirate where parking fees are charged every day of the week.
