Rescue volunteers were called tonight to Peninsula Avenue and Edward Avenue at 11pm on Saturday night local time, and asked for a large amount of medical assistance to the scene, they announced that they were “dealing with an incident of several serious casualties”.
According to a report on the Yeshiva world news website, one vehicle had three injured, two of them in critical condition, at least one of them was unconscious, two other victims in the other vehicle are in critical but stable condition.
It was further reported that one person (unknown if he is the driver) from the offending vehicle was taken into custody around 12:30 pm, it was not reported whether the driver was charged with any counts.
