Lean – conscious
The people of New Zealand celebrated the arrival of the New Year, 2025, on Wednesday, local time, while countries in other regions of the world continued their enthusiastic preparations for the beginning of the new year.
Standard time in New Zealand, located in a remote spot on Earth, is (GMT+13), ie 13 hours plus Greenwich Mean Time.
The people of New Zealand tend to celebrate the New Year before it reaches most other regions of the world, but nevertheless, the country is not the first country.
Due to the time difference around the world, it takes a full 26 hours to welcome the New Year, until every country switches to the year 2025.
Some countries do not welcome the New Year at the same time, because the time varies from region to region, as in large countries such as the United States, China and Australia.
