Indian stock markets opened lower again on Wednesday. The Indian stock market ended in a series of declines in the last 5 sessions following the Federal Reserve’s rate hike and RBI’s impending rate hike. The three-day meeting of the Reserve Bank’s Interest Rate Setting Committee began today.
The BSE Telecom sector saw the biggest gains with ITI Ltd, BSE Healthcare and BSE Auto both posting modest gains. Shares of BSE Metals have fallen over 8% in the last 5 trading sessions.
According to the current data, today Foreign Institutional Investors (FII) have invested Rs. 2,823.90 crore worth of Indian stocks were sold, while domestic institutional investors bought stocks worth Rs 3,504.76 crore.
