Kochi: Action will be taken against the students who rode their two-wheelers dangerously at night without the knowledge of their families. The motor vehicle department has registered a case against the students. The police caught them at the Nedumbassery airport on Saturday night.
During the vehicle inspection conducted by the Motor Vehicle Department, three persons were found to be traveling in Bullet. Plus two students studying in the same class who are less than 18 years of age were caught after driving in a dangerous manner.
The students testified that they usually go out when their family is sleeping and return home before they wake up. They reached the Nedumbassery airport around 12 pm. The children were caught at a time when the Motor Vehicle Department was carrying out a special inspection to catch those who were traveling on motorcycles and cars in a dangerous manner and at excessive speed. The authorities called the guardians of the three and released them after registering a case.
