The search process for the new head of the Attorney General’s Office of Mexico City (FGJ) began this Thursday with the opening of the registration of candidates; the interested parties, including the current office manager, Ulises Larawill have the same opportunities, as long as they meet the requirements, warned the president of the Citizen Judicial Council (CJC), Jorge Nader Kuri.
No person will be ruled out in this first part of the process, those who want can register and the CJC will make an evaluation, he clarified in an interview with 24 HORAS Nader Kuri, while hoping to gather “very good profiles“.

The president of the CJC pointed out: “Right now we are not ruling out absolutely anyone. Anyone who arrives and registers will be able to do so, and on November 11 we will analyze each file and determine who meets the eligibility requirements, but right now we are not ruling out anyone.”
Asked about an estimate of the registered applicants, he considered it difficult to have a large number in the recent dates of the call, because they need to gather specific documents.

The process will continue with the receipt of opinions from citizens and public hearings with citizen advisors, from November 13 to 16; Interviews with candidates to be held November 18 to 20.
The approval of the preselected will be on November 22; confidence exams from November 23 to 28 and will culminate with the publication of the shortlist on December 2 in a public session.
