After five years in his prison in Saint-Quentin-Fallavier (Isère), Nordahl Lelandais, the killer of little Maëlys and Arthur Noyer, was transferred to another prison establishment.
According to information from the Dauphiné Libéré, the most famous detainee in France was transferred Thursday to the national evaluation center of Aix-Luynes (Bouches-du-Rhône). He should spend four to six weeks there, before being sent to another prison, details the regional daily. According to Alain Chevallier, secretary general of the UFAP union at the Saint-Quentin-Fallavier penitentiary center, this decision was greeted by a certain “relief” from the prison staff. The detainee has indeed chained the scandals since his arrival in the establishment: possession of a mobile phone or even sexual intercourse in the visiting room. “We want to have a little peace,” says the union representative at Dauphiné Libéré. “We mobilize a lot of attention around him. Lots of staff, that’s enough. We need to find some calm in the penitentiary centre. »
