South Korea says North Korea has tested two more missiles.

According to a statement issued by the South Korean Tri-Forces Headquarters on Saturday:

Two missiles were test-fired on Friday in North Korea’s North Pyongyang province. The missiles were fired at 11-minute intervals.

Maximum 36 km. The missiles have an altitude of 430 km. The report states that they were swept away and fell into the sea.

North Korean President Kim Jong-un announced in early 2019 that he would give up his nuclear weapons. Instead, he urged the United States to lift sanctions on them.

In this connection, Ava’s talks with then-President Donald Trump failed. Negotiations between the two sides have stalled as Trump has stated categorically that sanctions can only be lifted after North Korea has completely abandoned its nuclear weapons.

Following this, North Korea threatened to resume nuclear weapons programs in defiance of US agreements. Moreover, it has been conducting frequent missile tests in defiance of US and South Korean opposition.

As part of that, North Korea announced last Tuesday that it was testing a hypersonic missile for the third time for the third time.

The United States has imposed sanctions on North Korean officials in protest.

In retaliation, North Korea is currently testing two more missiles.
