North winds will reduce rains in El Salvador

by times news cr

The presence of Northern Winds will cause a decrease in rains and storms in Salvadoran territory this Friday, the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources reported this morning.

The environmental institution detailed that, during the morning, there will be slightly cloudy skies, with greater cloudiness in the afternoon and during the night, mainly in the areas near the volcanic mountain range and the paracentral and eastern areas.

At these points there could be some occasional rains and storms. However, this Friday there will be a decrease in rainy activity in the country due to the presence of North Winds throughout the day.

Winds could reach minimum speeds of between 15 and 25 kilometers per hour and maximum speeds of up to 40 km/h, which will also keep temperatures cool in the morning and at night and a little warm at midday and in the afternoon.

According to the Environment, these conditions are due to high pressure east of Texas, which encourages the entry of northern winds into the country, maintaining the highest probability of rain for the eastern and coastal areas.
